Terms & Conditions

Please read the following conditions carefully before returning your booking form and deposits.

 

BOOKING AND PAYMENTS

A signed booking form together with a deposit of £100 per person must be received within the stipulated time of seven days from your telephone booking or e-mail reservation.  If your booking is within ten weeks of your holiday date, full payment must be forwarded with the booking form, together with an insurance premium to cover each person.  If you have already organised your own insurance, please fill in the insurer and the policy number on the booking form.  Full payment should reach us not later than 10 weeks prior to departure.  If payment is not received, Family Friendly Skiing reserves the right to cancel your booking and charge cancellation fees.  No contract shall exist between Family Friendly Skiing Ltd. and the client until a signed booking form, deposit and insurance details have been received. Confirmation and invoice will be issued to the person signing the form once all booking details are confirmed. The said party leader undertakes full responsibility to pay full price for the holiday ten weeks prior to departure.

 

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations by the client prior to departure for what ever reason must be made in writing to Family Friendly Skiing, and the appropriate charges will be made upon receipt of your letter.
Notice of cancellation:

More than 10 weeks Loss of deposit
6 - 10 weeks 40%
4 - 6 weeks 60%
2 - 4 weeks 75%
Less than 2 weeks 100%
 

DAMAGE

All damage caused by a client to the accommodation, property or contents therein, whether accidental or otherwise, must be paid for in the resort.

 

INSURANCE

This is not included in our price, but can be booked through Family Friendly Skiing.  Clients using an alternative policy must provide proof of cover at the time of booking.  Further details of the policy contents available on request.  Also see our Prices page.

BAGGAGE

All personal belongings and baggage, including skis, are at all times and in all circumstances at the owner's risk, and covered by their insurance.  Where a third party are involved, Family Friendly Skiing accepts no liability for loss, damage or delay.

 

PRICE GUARANTEE

We guarantee that no surcharges will be added once you have made a confirmed booking.  We reserve the right to increase or decrease the price of our holidays at will, however, the price shown on the confirmation of booking invoice will be the price charged.

 

LIABILITY

Family Friendly Skiing does not accept liability for the actions of any company, person or circumstances over which we have no control.  This includes ski lift, ferry, train and bus companies.  Clients travelling by air are bound by the terms and conditions of the airline with whom they are travelling, signing a separate booking form to obtain protection with the licensed tour operators ATOL.

 

CANCELLATION BY FAMILY FRIENDLY SKIING

Family Friendly reserves the right to cancel your holiday at any time for reasons of "Force Majeure".  These include weather, strikes, riots, war, natural disaster, political unrest, civil strife, epidemics, acts of God, etc.  We do not accept liability for disruption, travel delay or holiday enjoyment as a result of "Force Majeure".

 

SKI LEADER SERVICE

This is a free service and conducted with maximum safety in mind.  We cannot be held responsible for damage or injury to clients under any circumstances whilst in one of our groups.
