Useful Information
The following information is provided to make your holiday run as smoothly as possible. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any specific queries.
| ARRIVALS Airport and snowtrain arrivals will be met by a member of the FFS team or an agreed driver, who will have our name board or the party leader's name on it. Once in resort, you will be greeted by your chalet hosts and helped to your room. A welcome drink, ski fit and ski passes will be organized, and all arrangements for the week explained to you. Early arrivals are welcome, and ski fit & passes will be done as soon as possible, to maximize your ski time. Bags can be stored in the chalet until your room is ready. SKI SCHOOLS & SKI EQUIPMENTAs many of you know the first morning can be hectic for families and groups if you have to organize ski school and equipment, as well as leaving younger children in the crèche. Our 'hassle free' approach ensures your lessons are pre booked and ski equipment is done at one of our chalets or via mobile hire, ensuring your first day runs as smoothly as possible. SKI SCHOOLS To avoid disappointment and to obtain similar start and finishing times is is important to pre book all lessons. Ski schools require a Visa/Mastercard payment including expiry date and 3 digit security number. Credit card details can be attached to the booking form to speed things along. Independent ski teachers cannot accept cards. SKI HIRE Working in association with Salomon No more boring queues with children trying to buy the shops contents. For your convenience this is done at one of our chalets. Full range of Salomon ski and boots available and we collect the equipment at the end of the week. Payment in euro cash or UK cheque. ( 1.5% charge for card payments ) CHILDREN'S MEALS Usually served
outside crèche hours (17:15-17:30). We ask that parents supervise
their children at this time. POLAR BEAR CRÈCHE This is a five and a half day service 08:45 - 17:00. Friday is usually the half day, finishing at 13:00. Please plan your routes back to the chalet to arrive on time. CHILDCARE EQUIPMENT Each chalet is equipped with the following childcare equipment: cots and bedding, highchairs, stair gates, baby listeners, sterilizers, plastic dishes, cups and spoons, potties, and baby bouncer. Also, Calpol, just in case! BUGGIES AND CARRIERS We advise that you bring these with you as we have a limited supply outside crèche use. Most people find buggies and carriers a must at the airport. CAR SEATS/BOOSTERS We provide all child seats and boosters for airport transfers. TOYS We have a selection of toys at each chalet to suit all ages. However, a few home favourites can prove useful at difficult times. TV, DVDS & CD PLAYERS Each chalet is equipped with the above. Please bring a selection of your DVDs and CDs to suit all the family as licensing laws prevent us from showing any. |
