At 1400m, La Tania offers ski in ski out accommodation all season long, thanks to its many snow canons and supported by the north facing aspect of it's two magical tree lined slopes, the green run "Plan Fontaine", a beautiful winding forest piste suitable for beginners, as well as the infamous, picturesque tree lined Folyères blue run which can be enjoyed by all.
New, an extensive beginners area has been built in the village, called "Kodiak" offering free & enclosed, undercover magic carpets, further enhancing La Tania's facilities for beginners making learning to ski easy and fun all winter long no matter what the temperature.
From our chalets, you are only a short few minutes walk from the picturesque car free village of La Tania with it's good selection of cafés, bars and restaurants ranging from Michelin star to great pub food. Many of these offer great takeaway options. You will also find a well stocked mini market and tabac, a local French bakers and good selection of sports and gift shops.
La Tania's beautifully designed pedestrian village makes it ideal for families, allowing you to watch the children in the play area, bum boarding, sledging or skiing on the nursery slopes while you relax with a drink at one of its popular bars and cafes. Après Ski can become a real family occasion! For the night larks amongst you there is plenty of live music through the week in the three popular Sport bars, as well as open mic & Karaoke.
La Tania offers a variety of other activities such as snowshoeing, cross country skiing, walking trails and paragliding for the more adventurous,
There is a regular free bus service, linking La Tania to other Courchevel villages, (1300, 1550, 1650, 1850) where you have access to even more activities such as Aquamotion for a relaxing afternoon in the Spa and heated pools or a family fun filled break from the slopes enjoying the many water slides, diving boards and wave pools. Or why not try ice skating or speed skating in the olympic arena in Courchevel 1850 and for the adrenalin junkies you enjoy fat bike excursions, snowmobile tours and long speedy sledge runs.
